Tasasha Henderson is a music, pop culture, and politics writer based in the Midwest.

She is inspired by her passion for music, interest in what pop culture can reveal about the state (s) of our society, anger at injustice faced by marginalized communities, and love for Black people. Her op-eds, news analysis, interviews, and essays have been featured in publications such as Truthout, Salon, BK Magazine, For Harriet, and The Feminist Wire.

While currently working in the philanthropy sector, Tasasha is actively seeking freelance writing opportunities. Combining her love for writing with experience in nonprofit and philanthropy, she is also open to opportunities to support nonprofit organizations with grant writing and copyediting services.
